About 3Tier Services

3Tier Services began in Newport, Oregon in the early 1990’s as a single training center. After two location moves and three years it opened a second location in Salem, Oregon. At first offering martial arts lessons through the “American Karate Escrima Association” located in Auburn, Washington which the two original owners of the Newport & Salem

centers had ownership & management duties within. As time passed one of the original owners left and the one that remained began expanding use of force services to offer self-defense training to include nonlethal up through lethal. By request training services also expanded into doing private and group training for law enforcement, corrections,

and private security. Over time a third location was opened in Dallas, Oregon. Soon after this affiliated locations were opened in Albany, Oregon, Canby, Oregon, and Keizer, Oregon, all of which 3 Tier Services consulted on & trained the managers and owners; these locations were training centers only.

Over the years again by way of requests, our services expanded into private investigations, private security services, and use of force/self-defense litigation services for both criminal and civil cases; thus, 3Tier services was “born”. Training services, private security services, and Use of force/self-defense litigation services.

3Tier services has had several corporate clients over the years conducting numerous services such in-house trainer programs, risk management services such as investigative, private security, and product litigation. Having an office and training center in Nampa, Idaho, and the A.K.E.A. office and training center in Auburn, Washington, over the years 3Tier Services has conducted training all over the USA and has provided litigation services all over the USA. Due to specific licensing in each state and varying requirements for private investigative work, 3Tier Services has only worked in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho for those requests.
